The update of Suriya starrer Vanangaan directed by Bala is out.

The last movie Nachiyar directed by Bala and starring Jyothika and GV Prakash was a huge success. Varma then directed the Telugu Arjun Reddy remake starring Syan Vikram’s son Dhruv.
Later it was announced that Bala and Suriya will team up again for a new film. The film is produced by Surya Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment.
Suriya’s role in the film, which is completely different from ‘Nanda’ and ‘Pithamagan’, has been created by Bala in a completely different story line in Tamil cinema.
The movie is titled Vanangaon in Tamil. Named as ‘Achaludu’ in Telugu.
Balasubramaniam is the cinematographer of the film and the music is composed by G. V. Prakash. Mayapandi is the art director and Satish Surya is the editor.
Keerthy Shetty is making her first foray into Tamil cinema opposite Suriya with this film. Malayalam actress Mamita Baiju will make her debut in another important role. The film was shot in Kanyakumari district.
In this case, GV Prakash Kumar has announced on his Twitter page that the song recording of this film has started.
