R Parthiban’s ‘Iravin Nizhal’ faces trouble ahead of its release

a

R Parthiban is back with his next release ‘Iravin Nizhal’, and the world’s first single-shot non-linear film is slated to release this Friday, July 15. Bhaskar Rao, the founder of Naveen Enterprises, has filed a lawsuit seeking a ban on the release of ‘Iravin Nizhal’. In his petition, he claimed that ‘Iravin Nizhal’ is made to bag awards. Actor Parthiban has bought the camera equipment needed for shooting from his company at a low rent and the remaining rent of Rs 25,13,238 have not been settled yet.

Therefore, Bhaskar Rao has filed a case in the commercial court of Chennai seeking a ban on the release of the film without paying the remaining rent. Judge LS Sathaymurthy, who heard the case, adjourned the hearing to July 12, ordering actor R Parthiban to respond to the petition. So, the next hearing will be on Tuesday (July 12th), and a verdict against ‘Iravin Nizhal’ might affect the film’s release.
‘Iravin Nizhal’ features R Parthiban, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar, Priyanka Ruth, Brigida Saga, Sneha Kumar, Anand Krishnan, and Chandru among others in crucial roles, while the film’s music is scored by AR Rahman. The makers have built a great buzz for the film with regular updates and videos.
