Nifty Auto index slipped 1 percent dragged by the Ashok Leyland, Bharat Forge, M&M
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services large trade | 33.6 lakh shares (0.3% Equity) worth Rs 66.5 crore change hands at average of Rs 196 per share.
Benchmark indices were trading lower with Nifty around 17500. The Sensex was down 505.37 points or 0.85% at 58614.35, and the Nifty was down 148.30 points or 0.84% at 17481.50. About 1016 shares have advanced, 1851 shares declined, and 96 shares are unchanged.
