Pa. Ranjith is one of the most important directors of Tamil cinema. If you list the names of directors who changed the direction of Tamil cinema, no one can avoid his name.

After working as an assistant director to director Venkat Prabhu, he made his debut in Tamil cinema with the film “Attakkaththi” and attracted everyone’s attention with the film “Madras”. After the film “Madras”, he gave two consecutive films Kabali and Kaala with superstar Rajinikanth. Kabali was the biggest box office hit.

Meanwhile, he has started a production company called Neelam Productions and produced many short films, films like “Pariyerum Perumal”, “The Last Bomb of the Second World War” and “Writer” which was released on the eve of Christmas last year.

Ranjith’s movie “Charbata Paramparai” starring actor Arya was released on Amazon Prime on July 22 last year. Santhosh Pratap played the role of ‘Raman’ in this film.
